About FRIPA
.
Rep. Carole Fiola presents Karl Hetzler with MA House of Representatives Certificate in recognition of his 13 years of service as FRIPA President.
To strengthen the business community, FRIPA hosts periodic meetings and networking events where members can share information, learn about available incentives and programs, and hear from public agencies and utility providers. The Association also communicates regularly with members through email updates and online channels to highlight development projects, regulatory changes, and opportunities for workforce and economic development.
FRIPA’s mission is to ensure that companies in the Fall River Industrial and Commerce Parks have a unified voice, a reliable partner in dealing with government and service providers, and a forum for collaboration. By working together, member businesses help maintain a competitive, well‑managed industrial park that supports job creation and long‑term growth for the region.
The Fall River Industrial Park Association (FRIPA) is a volunteer-driven business association representing companies located in the Fall River Industrial and Commerce Parks. FRIPA brings together manufacturers, logistics providers, service firms, and other employers to support a strong, pro‑business environment and promote the parks as a premier location for investment and growth.
FRIPA is governed by a board of directors made up of business owners and senior executives from within the parks. The board sets priorities, oversees finances, and coordinates with the City of Fall River and regional partners, while committees and working groups handle specific initiatives such as infrastructure, public safety, and marketing.
The Association’s activities focus on practical, day‑to‑day value for member companies. FRIPA serves as a central point of contact with city and state officials, advocates for infrastructure and traffic improvements, and helps address shared concerns such as road maintenance, lighting, signage, and public transportation. It also works to enhance park safety and quality of life through coordination with police, fire, and public works departments.
The United Way along with local FRIPA business volunteers cleanup the park and bioreserve.
